making my own lava?

I have an empty lamp i want to fill, but can't get a goo kit due to magma tower being closed.

i've seen some people mention making their own, but i can't seem to find any of the processes anywhere.

i have some paraffin already but what else would i need?

NEVER USE SALT 

That is for middle school science class experiments only

It is a corrosive

It will corrode your coil and its effect degrade over time

Use propylene glycol
