Lamp today

I gotta say, this new lava tower with glass from Marcel at Goolamp and wax from Claude at Lava Lab Creations has amazing flow, all the time. I turn it on and 8 hours later it's in a wonderful cycle of full height activity, a total drop back down,…

The tower erupts usually between an hour and a half and 2 hours, and I hope to capture it on a GoPro sometime!

Thanks for the thoughts! What you describe is nearly what I had in mind. I've opted for the plug with a breaker plugged into a timer. Seemed to solved the issue of the lamps not being turned off, as well as left flexibility for the future since he is an older teen. Thank you again -- Holly

Todd, the issue of wiring our lamps has come up again. I had wanted to run the wires through a hole with a grommet in the wall to the other side where I would mount a strip with a breaker. My son wants to wire. I posted a discussion about the matter, and am getting feedback strongly against wiring. Since you have done it, I would appreciate any insight. Just follow my page to the discussion. Thank you!

Thx for getting back to me and solving the mystery. Knew I saw a thread about this quite some time ago and could not find it to follow up. Had planned to ask you a couple of questions re: how you did the wiring, but solved the dilemma myself last night.
