I want ONE glitter lamp. What's my best bet?

I had a teal on the way from endoftherainbow.com and then found out it was a China-made lamp from LavaWorld, so I canceled my order.

Are the China-made glitter lamps crap, too?

I'd like to have one nice glitter, but don't know a thing about them. Considering I won't likely come across anything cool like I've seen on trippyglitters.com - what should I get?

I saw this on eBay, but again wondered if the China-made glitters were as crappy as the China-made lava lamps from LavaWorld.

I do know this. I have yet to see much in the way of older glitters on eBay.

Hi I would opt for a Mathmos Glitter Baby you can see several colours in my galleries below, although the bottles are in a Telstar base they will fit in a standard Astrobaby Base which are available in White and Silver.

A Firefly IS a glitter lamp. It simply has a plastic outer shell with holofoil pattern. They're nifty, but by no means the best. Wizards are awesome, very sparkly and vibrant!

The very best are vintage models: French lamps (unusual shapes and designs), Lava-Simplex GemLites (very, very sparkly) and Florence Art Co. Astro-Lites (hypnotic, slow action and unusual forms, including double- and triple-globe models)

Callisto, if you like the stuff on Trippyglitters, it does occasionally show up on eBay France, and if you email me I can point you to one if/when it appears, if you like a particular style. My email is [e-mail].

Lava Head, I would certainly like to own at least one Mathmos. I've looked around on eBay UK, but most people won't ship to me. Those glitterbabies are COOL though!!!
