Replacement Cap Needed for Mathmos Lunar Bottle

Hi all,

I've helped a US forum member purchase a Lunar which I will ship, but the seller has broken the plastic bottle cap when removing the nose cone for packing (which was glued).

Is there an obvious replacement available?

I don't suppose the astro caps will fit?

Haven't owned one myself, so clueless.

Marcus glittergoo guy sells the black plastic/bakelite type link below, my recent lunar bottle used a totally different cap more flexible plastic , astro cap are bigger if im not mistaken.

I presume this will provide a secure seal without the need for some epoxy?

that i couldnt say, as back in the day mathmos ( like now ) glued the caps on, i spose you could wrap sticky tap around the cap/neck area if ya sending the bottle, but for normal use aka sitting on the base blobbing cant see it needing gluing on.

When i had my lunar with the bullet tip that screwed onto a thread stuck to the bottle cap, mathmos used to glue the silver cone onto the bottles grrrrrrrr nightmare when you wanted to change the bottle etc  why oh why did they do that :-/
