Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hiya! My name is Cleric, and I'm mostly just here to try and find a specific lamp my mother used to have. Please bear with me, as my memory is not very good and I was only a young child when I last saw it! Any help is greatly appreciated!

My mother used to have this lovely lamp when I was a kid, it was in the shape of a woman (possibly wearing a dress?), with red wax (though I believe it came in different colors). I may be incorrect in my description, but the plastic cap was either the woman's hat or her head itself. My mother loved that lamp, though, but we have no idea where it went. It was either destroyed or given away/thrown out by an ex-family member many years ago, and I want to surprise her with a new one for her birthday.

If anyone can shed some light on where I can get one, I would greatly appreciate it! Also, I apologise if this is in the wrong category.

Thank you for your time!

Is this what you are looking for?  I found this picture here but this might be an old posting:

This might be it! I dont know about the glitter version, but I KNOW they came with red or blue wax (my mother's friend had the blue one! It exploded, unfortunately)! It's been surprisingly difficult even finding pictures of the bottle, though. The only image I've been able to find where the bottle is shaped in such a way lead me right here. Thank you so much for the info though, the small details really make that much of a difference! :)

Hm.. Thank you so much for looking, but I don't know if this is the same one. I'll show my mother this photo on the weekend and ask if it rings any bells.

I know what lamp your speaking about because I have one that I replaced the  glitter fluid with shimmering purple glitter but it can be switched back to lava very easily.  It's a German lamp called PLASMA LADY if it has Lava or if you get one with glitter it's called The Flitter Lady.  Mine came with two hats made with a silver resin type material. Looks like a nude woman  with Silver wide brimmed hat standing  on a silver base .  They came in two lava wax colors - RED Wax/ Clear Liquid and Blue Wax/ Clear liquid.  I even have the original box. I purchased it from a man in Germany five years ago. Should I post a photo for you?  They were also available in Blue Glitter, Gold Glitter and Silver Glitter  all clear liquid.  Mine was originally in blue glitter.  You can easily drop a lava lamp coil inside which I have and replace the fluid and wax using lava lite original fluids a from a globe you can easily find for sale online.  For shits and grins I might be willing to do the work for you if you're interested let me know.  I may be willing to sell the lamp even though it's the only one I've seen come up on Ebay since purchasing for my extensive collection.   I'd have to check my  purchase history to see how much I paid for the lamp that is if the history is still available.  They are hyper rare but I would sell for a reasonable price if your interested send me a message. I can upload a photo tomorrow after I get back from my office.  Your call. One last thing...I could not give you the makers name because all the copy on the box is in GERMAN.
