COSMIC COINCIDENCE:

Oh, and the Moon will be New,…

Yes it's poetry, but it's also lava in the limelight.
--------------------
Dripping, hanging shape
Floating suspended in glass
dance ever slowly.
--------------------
Lava glistening
as like a rose,
or perhaps a vast blue ocean.
And yet other times
you are yellow,
you dream of summer days to come.
Lava flowing
round about me,
hypnotizing graceful motion.
Your oozing bouncing
captivates me,
I…

I'm worried about the health of my most beloved lava lamp. It's developing bubbles in the wax. It only started a couple of months ago but it now seems to be getting worse. I think its sick.

The old timers may remember the Christmas Poetry Contest we ran for a few years back in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
Well, it's time to dust off that Thesaurus! Let's have a little fun competition for the best
lava lamp related
poem or
short story honoring this year's Hollow's Eve.
No fees, but alas no prizes. Do this because you are creative and you like to beat people to the ground with your superior linguistic technique.…

Has anyone ever made a glitter lamp? I think I might branch out and try it, but I'm not sure of any particular ingredients I should use.

My 52oz. was acting really strange so I started messing with the water solution only to find out the coil had broken into 3 pieces! I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the coil but my goo was bleeding into the water. Very strange-can't imagine why that would all the sudden happen! Does anyone have a suggestion on what coil would work best and where to find them? I'm guessing a hardware store. Also, I added an extra small coil to my other 52 oz. that was running slow and it seemed to…

HI All,
After 3 years I was finally able to find an exporter who shipped me a Grande Lava lamp which is huge but the issue is that,I powered it up let it run for 5 hours but sadly nothing happened. And now when I heat it up for 2-3 hours all the wax floats up and small goblets either drip slowly or dont drip at all I mean its not working at all..
What is the issue?
Its a 27 CM lamp
any one who can help me out?
Thanks
